Dress 2 Dance

My name is Nora Johnson and I am a senior at Patrick Henry High School. I am currently working on my Gold Award, which is the highest award in Girl Scouts. To receive this, I am conducting a project to spread the art of dance as well as alleviate some of the financial burden of dance. I will do this by implementing donation boxes in studios to collect lightly used dance wear in addition to doing 5 "Dance 101" workshops throughout the community and one large expo event. This will give kids a chance to perform the routines learned at the workshops and give families of aspiring dancers the opportunity to take home free dance wear.
